Gibson Bass is an Associate Attorney with Maginnis Howard. Born in Romania, Gibson moved to North Carolina in 2001 and grew up in Wallburg, a small town just outside Winston-Salem, where she learned early on the value of community and looking out for your neighbors. She proudly became a U.S. citizen in 2016 and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before law school, Gibson worked as a paralegal in Raleigh, where she saw firsthand how much a caring, responsive legal team can mean to someone going through a difficult time.
During law school at Campbell University, Gibson interned with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office and the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and competed on Campbell’s mock trial team. She also volunteered with the Wills for Heroes Clinic, providing free estate planning services to the first responders who serve our communities.
At Maginnis Howard, Gibson represents individuals and families in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability claims. She knows that behind every case is a person whose life has been turned upside down, and she works hard to make sure her clients never feel like just a file number. From the first phone call through settlement or trial, Gibson keeps her clients informed, answers their questions in plain English, and fights for the best possible outcome for every family she serves.
