WSOCTV reports - CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers are investigating what caused a driver to hit and kill a woman before crashing into the side of a home in Cabarrus County. Emergency crews were called to the home at the corner of N.C. Highway 200 and Vanderburg Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Troopers said Evelyn Tarlton, 73, was gardening with her husband in their front yard when the SUV.
