Leapfrog Hospital Survey has just released its 2015 results for Charlotte area hospital's safety rankings. LHS has long been recognized as the national leader in compiling and comparing hospitals’ performance data for safety, efficiency, and quality. Over 1,500 hospitals across America took part in the survey.
The survey grades (A, B, C, D or F) more than 2,500 U.S. healthcare facilities based on their track record for preventing errors, accidents, injuries and hospital-contracted infections. Each hospital is given a Hospital Safety Score is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
