Charles G. Monnett III is the founding partner of Charles G. Monnett III & Associates. Mr. Monnett's practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, traumatic brain injury, medical malpractice and workers' compensation cases before both federal and state courts. Mr. Monnett is a featured speaker throughout the United States educating lawyers prosecuting traumatic brain injury, medical malpractice and other catastrophic injury claims. He remains dedicated to achieving justice for those who have been injured. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Mr. Monnett attended undergraduate school at Appalachian State University and in 1983, he received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, Mr. Monnett is a member of the American Association for Justice, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Belli Society, the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. In 1984, he was appointed by NC Governor Mike Easley to a 4 year term on the NC Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Council. He is past chair and Treasurer of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group.
